I decided this month to spend some time on a redesign and some improvements for the Less Than 6 Degrees Tampa Bay website and Facebook presence.

The Facebook update was prompted by Facebook’s recent decision to further decrease the value of Groups. We’ve created and are now promoting a Facebook Page.

While the initial WordPress based site served it’s purpose of getting the information posted correctly and timely there was not much flexibility built into the template I used.

I did a quick re-skin using PageLines PlatformPro to improve the content and give it a more finished look. The site header still needs to be improved but will have to be done when I get some inspiration to do so.

The new layout keeps things very simple with upcoming event info, charity details, profiles of our seven founders and an archive of our past events. Additionally we’ve created some space for some sponsors to be highlighted.
