Support USF’s Diabetes Research – no funds, just friends

Dear Readers,

Please join me and the University of South Florida in raising awareness and generating grassroots support for USF’s outstanding research in diabetes and autoimmune disorders and for the advancement of needed integrated clinical care.

Currently, there are 23.6 million children and adults in the United States, or 7.8% of our overall population, who have diabetes. This includes 10.4% Hispanics and 14.7% African-Americans over the age of 20 who have been diagnosed with diabetes.

Researchers at USF are focused on finding a cause, preventing, and curing this often debilitating disease.

Your advocacy is needed to help bring advanced integrated care and a cure home. To learn more, please visit http://www.supportusfdiabetesresearchandtreatment.org. We are looking for “friends” not funds.

Please forward this message and website to your family, friends and colleagues.

Through a unified effort, we can advance this good cause.

Thank you,

Vinny Tafuro, President
