I recently started following @griner on twitter who posted Web 3.0 is about taming the deluge of data this week.
I am entertained most by the Un-Sites he mentions, the most recent of which is Boone Oakley (embedded below) and their story of Billy.
I was reminded by his post of the Modernista! site mention last year on AdFreak which is a unique web presence.
I never would have guessed how enlightening it was...
I went into my Personal Futures Session with Vinny not knowing what to expect. I never would have guessed how enlightening it was to begin laying out what I want to see for myself and loved ones. Vinny did an amazing job at pulling this out of me without telling me what I wanted. If you are at a transition point in life, or even if you are doing well, but know there is something more out there, Vinny's Personal Futures Session may just be what shows you the way. – TM
A much better idea of what I want to do...
I just turned 40 and my life is going through some major life changes. I wasn't really sure what direction my life was headed, much less how to get there. It honestly left me feeling kind of stuck and like my life had no direction. The Personal Futures session with Vinny Tafuro was truly what I needed. It helped me to gauge where in my life I was and gave me a framework for how to think about my future and which direction I want my life to go. Now I have a much better idea of what I want to do and what steps I need to start taking to get there. I am grateful for feeling like I can now move forward with my life. – HL
The future is far less terrifying...
I have ADHD and have so many plans, desires, and needs going through my head but have such a hard time focusing enough to put everything in order and definitely see the forest and not the trees. I'm also self-employed with two businesses so I have a lot going on which compounds this issue.
Vinny really took the time to listen to my needs and to get to the core of my values before we even began the process. We widdled down to three overall subjects then widdled those down to goals I can aim for over different points in time then finally widdled them down to easy tasks I can start within the next 24 hours. I work best with a checklist of tasks and it was extremely helpful to have someone help me lay it out. The future is far less terrifying and I can actually see a plan for myself for more than the next year or two. I'm incredibly thankful for Vinny's expertise and encouragement. – LP
This exercise was eye-opening, to say the least!
I am a personal development junkie as I am an entrepreneur and a business educator. Always looking to improve. I thought I had done it all. (i.e. goal setting exercises, vision boards, etc.). Doing the Personal Futures program was the best I have ever done. It allowed me to dive a bit deeper into my true desires and goals that the other methods haven't done. I highly recommend the 1-on-1 program so that you have that extra 3rd-person perspective that is able to see the things right in front of you that you couldn't see on your own." – SS

The article was also informative and interesting to read as the topics of – what web 2.0/3.0, etc.. really are and what that means to culture, media and commerce – are important to me.
I was a big fan of Atom Films back in the day, the spot reminds me of that mind set & attitude.
